A card for a giraffe fan, a colleague at work loves giraffes and every year I try to find something different. This year with the help of Chris and Brenda from Chickenshack for the loan of their stamps I have achieved this card. I coloured the Giraffe using distress inks and was very pleased with the effect.
Paper was K& Co
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Fiskars border punch
This was fun, have you tried making paper roses with a kitten who wants to help........ Lilly was sleeping but Daisy was out to get the roses at every attempt, need I say the air was blue!
A card we made with Jane Gill the other week with a few alterations to adapt it to a wedding card. I used craftwork cards paper pad in a pearlecent cream and a papermania sheet from a paper pad I bought a while back. I embossed the to in cuttlebug birds and swirls added a tag and a gold peel off.

Whiff of Joy v Sarah K
Just like buses nothing for ages then two.......not that I ever get on a bus!
Been playing with colours and Copics, I think I am beginning to learn the art of shading, thanks to all Kay Carley's tips last week.
I had seen this stamp a while back and decided I wanted it and I am really pleased with it, she really is a nice image to colour. The papers were from craft creations with a piece of embossed bazzil. Oh and I stamped and heat embossed a few snowflakes round the image the added a bit of chalk. It needs some purple stickles but would you believe it I do not have that colour, something else to add to the shopping list.
Ohhh Ouch, the colours really do not look very nice in this picture, much better in the flesh take my word for it. I need to finish this card off with some flowers and a sentiment but as the daylight is running out I thought I had better take a picture quick. Its only six o'clock and already getting dark, dont you just hate the dark evenings. Opps off I go again waffling, back to the card a sarah K stamp and I though I would try and use up some of the paper pads bought over time and put in the cupboard and forgot, I think it was from a K & Co range and a embossed birthday message.

Where did that week go!
Forever friends again, I do love this little bear and it is quite a quick card to make. Stamped and paper pieced.
A card a made a while ago and I had it hidden as I did not want to put it on the blog until I had delivered the card, then stupid me promptly forgot, but just found a piccie on my camera.
This idea was taken from a Julie Hickey class, but I adapted it using my own made flowers and papers. Sorry about the glare I used bling card and my camera does not like it......

Oh what fun we all had.....
A big thank you goes out to Jane Gill for the flower class at crafts u love. We made roses and poinsettias with paper and punches. Its was absolutely fantastic, I was so impressed and I know Junie Moon and the others were too. The poinsettia card I will keep for you to see at a later date but not too long as it is nearly Christmas. Which is also why this weekend I have started on my Christmas cards as like all others years I am not going to leave it till the last minute for a mad rush to catch the last posting day.
I also thought I would try again with my copics, my last attempt I was so ashamed of. This is not too bad, I think I may be getting the hang of blending a little better. I used one of the recent Sarah Kay stamps, Doodlebug paper and cuttlebug embossed strips chalked with a few flowers topped with craftwork cards candy. Thank you for looking, I really appreciate all the visitors and comments to my blog. xx
