Ladybird Ladybird fly away home!

I am still trying to get to grips with distress inks, I think I am improving slowly! What a horrible wet day. I am trying to put some Mothers day cards together to take to work, but not getting anywhere fast and again the weekend is nearly over. Me thinks too much time blog hopping and not creating.

A sweet little Magnolia stamp I think she is called Ladybug? she iz so very cute and a nice change of colours to paint with. I used Black Soot and Fired Brick, for the skin Tattered rose and Antique linen..... Oh who managed to get the new colours in the distress inks off qvc in the week, yipeee I did, can not wait for them to arrive. Paper I think was an old doodlebug design and black craftwork cards paper cut the the Martha Stewart Lace border, Message was a peel off. The ladybirds were a quikutz die.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm uffin!

Firstly I would like to thank the lovely and very talented Helen Meighan for the design for the card.
Who need blog challenges, I get enough from the girls at work. Can I have a black and silver birthday card and can I have one in a pink theme with valentine/hearts included in it. Well here goes for the results, I am glad to say they were greatly appreciated.

The stamp I used was the Magnolia love muffin with craftwork card papers.

This time I used some Doodlebug paper,Martha Stewart Lace border punch and I used the punched out hearts from the border on the front of the card, and the stamping up oval punch for the massage which was one from Stamping Caz, And a Nestability for the heart message with a rub on.

Sorry about the photo this was finished rather late and I just took a couple of quick photo's before I forgot. Kept plain with Blue and Red Bazil and coloured with copics.
